Controls and Chat
Controls shape how this Space answers. That is true for ordinary Chat and for Adaptive. There is no separate Adaptive settings screen.
One layer, two ways of working
Default Chat retrieves from your Knowledge and answers in a single pass. Adaptive can search, open, and read across your Knowledge in several steps, and can produce a downloadable document. Both run under the same platform guardrails and Space rules.
Adaptive adds extra retrieval steps and can generate documents. It does not replace Controls.
Deep search is a different Chat mode. It widens where retrieval looks (across your My Spaces). It is not part of Controls. See Chat modes.
Isolation
Controls live on the org Space you pick at sign-in — the same place you open Controls in the sidebar. They do not bleed across org Spaces.
My Spaces keep their own sources and conversations. There is no separate Controls page per My Space. Controls for the Space you pick at sign-in apply across its My Spaces.
Knowledge, Controls, Chat, and History stay scoped. Nothing in this layer is a reason to mix material across Spaces.
