Saved conversations can only be continued for 30 minutes after the last message. After that window closes, start a new chat to continue the topic. This keeps History stable and avoids stale context.
Check that the file type is supported (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown, or text) and that it is under the 50MB limit. If you have read-only access, you cannot upload — contact your Space administrator for write access.
Controls replaces Core Prompt. Open Controls in the sidebar to review platform guardrails and your Rules.
No. Platform guardrails are set by Empathy.AI, always-on, and read-only. You cannot edit or disable them.
Active rules are live in the Space. Inactive rules exist but are not applied — you can enable them. Draft rules were never published; you can delete them. Published rules are disabled, not deleted.
Tone & voice faders show how the rule is set. You can review them on Controls; enable, disable, or delete drafts from a rule's menu.
No. Adaptive uses the same Controls as default Chat. There is no separate Adaptive settings screen.
Sources are attached when the answer draws on your Knowledge. If no relevant material is found, or the question is outside your Knowledge, the answer may not include citations. Add more sources or refine your question.
No. Shared conversations are read-only for recipients. Start a new chat in your own Space to continue a discussion.
