Your Spaces

Create and manage Spaces

What My Spaces are, when to create one, and how their lifecycle works.

A My Space is a private sub-Space you create inside your org Space for a project, team, or topic. It keeps its own sources and conversations, and only you can open a My Space you create.

Why create separate Spaces

Your org Space holds everything you can reach — including the Knowledge library you add at org level. A My Space narrows that down to a single body of work. Create one when you want a project's documents and chats kept apart from the rest — so retrieval stays focused and unrelated material never turns up in an answer.

The lifecycle of a Space

A My Space moves through a simple lifecycle: you create it, work in it, adjust its details, and delete it when the work is done.

Create it. Open My Spaces in the sidebar and choose New Space. Give it a name, an optional description, and — if you already have material — optional starter sources. Save, and the Space appears in the sidebar, ready for Knowledge and Chat.

Rename or update it. Open the Space and edit its name or description on the detail page. Changes save automatically.

Delete it. Open the actions menu on the Space and choose delete.

What deletion removes

Deleting a Space is permanent and cannot be undone. It removes the Space and every file and conversation inside it. Download anything you want to keep first.

Sources you associated from org-level Knowledge are not deleted with the Space — they stay in the shared Knowledge base for other Spaces to use.

What stays scoped

What is shared across your org Space versus scoped to each My Space.
