Quickstart
Go from an empty Space to your first grounded answer in four steps.
Four steps
Sign in and open your Space
Choose your Space from the picker after signing in. You land in Chat with an empty Knowledge library ready for you to add sources.
Add Knowledge
Open Knowledge in the sidebar. Upload a file (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown, or text — max 50MB) or paste text directly. Wait until the source shows a ready status.
Review Controls (optional)
Open Controls to see platform guardrails and the rules that shape how this Space answers. Guardrails always apply. You can enable, disable, or delete unpublished drafts from a rule's menu.
Ask your first question
Start a new chat, ask a question about your material, and read the grounded answer. Expand Sources under the response to see which documents it drew from.
